Jason Scheff: You know, in a day and a age when everybody gets a trophy for just showing up… I’m sorry man, we grew up in the 80’s around David Foster, Michael Landau, Steve Lukather, Tim Pierce, and I’m spoiled. I’m sorry, there’s a lot of great talent out there these days, but it just drives me crazy when people say, ‘This is a genius, this is so great and everything,’ but man, Jackson. He’s 13? He deserves it man, because… yeh, from the first notes I heard him play, like what two years ago or a year ago… Jackson, I hope you don’t take this the wrong way, but you’re a freak of nature. And I say that with all due respect. But it’s true man, I just can’t wait to hear what this guy keeps coming up with.
